Here's someone sharing theirs: This thread has a few links: If you use other peoples profiles and they're large - then I'd recommend importing things selectively into your own profile and tinkering with them there - leaving the originals to refer back to if you break anything, and cutting down on the noise of lots of commands until you're familiar with it all. (If you're just starting - and if you haven't already done so - I'd recommend training the recognition via Window Speech Recognition control panel) Also worth a look - - not VoiceAttack - but an alternative that has some features VA doesn't (notably - WaitForPixel which allows you to write macros that effectively detect state of the game's UI - within limitations). (I'm using VoiceMacro for just the things I can't do in VoiceAttack - they run happily together).

I've looked for a VoiceAttack plugin to do the same but can't find one. I've just brought ASTRA (), and looking at its commands - it makes use of variables a lot (e.g. Key bindings are variables, so commands that use the same key binding don't need individually adapting to your setup). I've only just brought it, but a brief look suggests they're using a lot of advanced techniques in VA to reduce duplication and allow chaining of simple commands into more sophisticated ones. I suspect I have lot to learn from this profile, and I'm starting to think it was worth the £5 even if I only use it as a reference (but more likely I will use it fully and adapt it to my own needs).

(I'll also happily share my own profile - but things are in flux at the moment - and I would have to de-integrate ASTRA from my profile first as I don't want to accidentally share someone else's work without their consent).

Checking through revised versions to be sure the suggested changes and corrections were made previously required many tedious keystrokes and mouse- clicks. Now, I can just say, “OK” and VAC will remove the markup where my cursor is that has been properly addressed—saved me untold hours and saved me from repetitive motion strains! Editing papers and adding common comments has become a snap!

This software is unparalleled in how powerful it is and the ease of use. There is a very limited learning curve—you’ll be up and running rapidly. The software author has really thought through how the software will be used and addressed each issue. When I found an error, the author responded exceptionally rapidly in resolving the problem. Try it out—you’ll find it is well worth the price!
